Abstract/Summary

The chapter is part of a book presenting the results of a study of the metabolism of the region of Aussois (Savoy), France, and recommendations for decision-making and sustainable planning strategies. The study was held within an interdisciplinary research project (2013-2014) conducted by a multidisciplinary pool of scientists in social and environmental sciences, planning and design, in collaboration with local authorities (City of Aussois, Vanoise National Park, Savoy Region). The research was funded by the French National Centre for Scientific Research CNRS, Institute for the Ecology and the Environment.
