Abstract/Summary

The many innovations of the Chinese aerospace industry have been and are associated with pro-market policy since the 1980s. In this paper, we will discuss the activities of the Chinese state and its comparative advantage in judgemental decision making during uncertainty. By exploring how the Chinese state has handled entrepreneurial events over the decades, we will gain insight into the driving forces of re-combinative innovation in the aerospace industry.
