Abstract/SummaryThis paper describes the implementation, using a microprocessor, of a self-tuning control algorithm on a heating system. The algorithm is based on recursive least squares parameter estimation with a state-space, pole placement design criterion and shows how the controller behaves when applied to an actual system.
