Abstract/Summary

José Luzán was the major religious painter in Zaragoza in the first half of the 18th century. His decorations at the Chapel of Nuestra Señora de Zaragoza la Vieja, in San Miguel de los Navarros, Zaragoza show him to be an inventive and orthodox interpreter of religious subjects.
