Abstract/Summary

In this study, copper oxide nanoparticles (CuO) were prepared by a simple method from the corresponding salt using Fig (Ficus carica) leaves extracts. The particles were characterised using XRD, SEM, TEM, and AFM techniques. XRD spectra revealed that the particle size obtained was around (7.31 nm), which agreed fairly well with those estimated from SEM and TEM. Surface morphology of the nanoparticles was studied by SEM, TEM and AFM.
