Abstract/Summary

This is an edited collection involving 90+ participants giving landmark treatment to events in UK and Irish legal history that benefited women legally. It is intended as a pioneering exemplar of scholarly feminist legal history (as opposed to the anecdotal and uncritical accounts that abound) and to celebrate the centenary of women’s admission to the legal profession in 1919.
