CentAUR Policies

Policy on depositing research outputs in CentAUR

Staff are required to deposit:
  • The metadata (author, title etc.) for all published or in press research publications, or the equivalent research outputs that have reached the public domain through exhibition, performance or production.
  • The associated full texts for journal articles and conference proceedings where practical and if allowed by the publishers’ copyright agreements.

Depositing research outputs in CentAUR helps achieve compliance with the University's policy and funders' mandates for Open Access. Please see:


Notice & Takedown Policy

The reasons and the procedure for requesting withdrawal of an item from CentAUR.

Deposit Licence

An agreement between the University and the author/creator to make research outputs available in CentAUR. The licence appears at the last stage of the deposit process and it is at that point that the author is required to click agreement.

End User Agreement

To explain the rights of access to and re-use of the content held within CentAUR.
