Here we report on the rediscovery of D. undulatus from southern Wales, specifically the island of Flat Holm. The historic and current distribution of D. undulatus in the UK is explored. Dermestes undulatus sits within the subgenus Dermestinus Linnaeus, along with D. murinus Linnaeus. The differentiation of D. undulatus from D. murinus is considered.
