Abstract/Summary

This guide is aimed at all built environment educators. Its purpose is to illustrate the key issues in terms of improving knowledge, skills and understanding in the creation of an inclusive built environment. The guide explains the importance now placed on the ability of built environment professionals to achieve social, economic and environmental inclusion. It explains the implications for education and provides examples of good practice in teaching.
