Abstract/Summary

This article discusses the scope of Law of Property Act 1925, s. 53(1)(c). In particular, it considers whether the word “disposition” there includes the surrender of an equitable interest; and how far a vendor-purchaser constructive trust is capable of overriding the provision’s effects.
