Abstract/SummaryThis chapter provides insights into the applications of different temperature-responsive polymers (TRPs) grafted to solid core inorganic nanoparticles, and how their thermo-responsive nature can provide solutions to many of the problems associated with other nanoparticles. It describes the most common forms of TRPs reported in the literature, pNIPAM and poloxamers, as well as some more unusual TRPs, and considers how their use and function can be varied depending on the particle core.
