Abstract/Summary

The chapter focuses on the intellectual and political activity of the politician Alexander Langer (1943-1995), one of the European leaders of the green movement, in 1968, and in particular on Langer's background and formation, on one side, and his political engagement at local, national and international level on the other side. Also, it questions Langer's heritage in post-1968 Italy.
