Under the context of strengthening undergraduate teaching & learning and exploring the construction of a first-class business school (or management school), this article focuses on the undergraduate teaching & learning system of the business school, from the perspective of joint research between academics from China and the UK. Based on the teaching experience, visiting experience and related literature, under a basic understanding of undergraduate teaching & learning in Chinese and British universities, taking Henley Business School of University of Reading as a sample, this article reports the result to a detailed study of its teaching & learning system in four aspects: the teaching & learning philosophy and objectives, majors and curriculum, teaching design and methodology, studying assessments and assurance, which aims to provide enlightenment for the design of undergraduate teaching & learning systems in the Chinese business schools.
