Abstract/Summary

Through close reading of Marx and a brief survey of post-Fordist theorisations of the relationship between art and labour, the essay proposes that artists must abandon humanist attachments to the exceptionalism of creative labour and forge an anti-humanist solidarity with others as workers in general.
